Audio-Technica introduces the U100 Series: ATW-R100 receiver, ATW-T101 body-pack transmitter and the ATW-T102 plug-on transmitter.  With 100 PPL-synthesized channels selectable via switches on the receiver and transmitter, true diversity operation selects the better signal from two independent receiver selections, reducing dropouts.  And since the U100 operates in TV channels 57-59 you’ll avoid interference from newly reallocated frequency bands in TV channels 67-69. 

The U100 Series is frequency-agile, allowing operation in both analog and DTV operating environments.  Features include rugged metal construction, removable receiver antennas with BNC connectors and headphone jack with volume control.

Sony UHF Systems

Sony’s 800 Series UHF Wireless Microphone Systems are the stuff of pro audio legend. They’re used in broadcasting for everything from network news, to talk shows to soap operas.  They’re used when rock and roll headliners hit the stadium circuit, and for Broadway musicals.  But until now, these high performance systems have only been available to those with deep pockets.  Sony changes all that with the latest additions to their wireless microphone family.

Special combinations of intermodulation-free frequency combinations are conveniently stored in the CPU of each tuner.  This makes it easy to choose the correct operating frequencies for simultaneous multi-channel operation.  This UHF synthesized wireless system employs six channel groups.  Each group allows for different variations on the number and combination of various UHF TV channels.  By using channel number designations of 64, 66 and 68, up to 19 channels can be operated simultaneously, over all the channels from 64 to 69.

Because RF interference can change from venue to venue - and from night to night - Sony’s wireless systems can also change.  With frequency-agile frequency-synthesis tuning, you get your choice of 282 wireless channels, available at a moment’s notice.

Tuners:

WRR-802A, single-channel tuner, half 19-inch rack width, 1 RU high, with TRS connectors and XLR connectors and output volume control, front mounted passive antennas supplied   

MB-806A, Tuner Base unit, holds up to six WRU-806A receiver modules, purchased separately, Supplied with passive antennas.  For simultaneous operation of up to 19 channels on a single pair of AN-820A active antennas use the WD-820A Antenna Divider (listed below).

The WRR-805A68 offers wireless technology at an affordable price for the independent professional. This small and lightweight camera-mount receiver is designed for the wedding and corporate videographer. It features a headphone monitor, is mountable on Sony camcorders and offers six hours of operation (requires 2 “AA” alkaline batteries). Batteries not included.
