Beyerdynamic MCE 58 Condenser
The Beyerdynamic
MCE 58 is a condenser microphone developed for interviewing and
broadcasting. Using an unbalanced
output, the MCE 58 delivers a very high signal level permitting direct
connection to mobile DAT and MD recorders.
An elasticized suspension of the transducer element is used to eliminate
unwanted handling noise, while built-in active filters suppress unwanted low
frequency noise. The frequency response
of the MCE 58 has been optimized for superior speech intelligibility. Coated with a non-glare Nextel surface, the
MCE 58 will withstand the rough use often associated with news gathering
events.

this tough little omni. The hardened steel grille and die-cast case make it a
nice choice for your ENG field kit. Frequency response is 50Hz to 15kHz; the
mic has high sensitivity to match the input of most recorders and mixers.

Electro-Voice 635AB
Perhaps the most
widely used ENG microphone, the 635 is nicknamed The Hammer for good reason.
Choose from a variety of configurations including an economical six pack
without stand adapters. Fans of neodymium can order the 635N/D with greater
output and an even more protective metal casing. E-V offers both in fawn beige
or sleek black. All flavors provide 80Hz to 13kHz response. The individual mics
